🛒Ingredients
Wings:
- 3 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tbsp Blazing Star Beef Rub
-
Oil for frying
Tour of Asia Sauce:
- 1/3 cup Blazing Star Asian Bang Sauce
- 1/4 cup Melinda’s Japanese BBQ Sauce
-
2 tbsp Melinda’s Hot Honey
Garnish:
- Sesame seeds
-
Chopped green onions (optional)
🔥Instructions
-
Prep the Wings
Pat chicken wings dry and season generously with Blazing Star Beef Rub on all sides. -
Smoke the Wings
Place wings on your smoker (like a Yoder Smokers YS640S) at 225°F.
Smoke until wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F about 1.5 hours. -
Make the Sauce
While the wings are smoking, combine Asian Bang Sauce, Japanese BBQ Sauce, and Hot Honey in a small saucepan.
Warm gently over low heat until smooth and blended. -
Fry for Crispiness
Heat oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or cast iron skillet.
Fry smoked wings until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side. -
Toss in the Tour of Asia Sauce
Remove wings from oil, drain slightly, then toss in the warm sauce until fully coated.
-
Serve & Garnish
Plate wings and top with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately!
💡Pro Tips
-
For maximum crispiness, let wings rest uncovered in the fridge for 30 minutes before smoking.
-
Double the sauce recipe if you like your wings extra coated.
-
Want a sweeter kick? Drizzle a little more Hot Honey right before serving.
