🔥Instructions

  1. Prep the Ribs
Slice the beef back ribs into individual pieces using a sharp butcher knife. Trim off excess fat if needed.
  2. Season & Bind
Rub each rib with a thin layer of Melinda’s Japanese BBQ Sauce to help the seasoning stick. Coat generously with Blazing Star Beef Rub on all sides.
  3. Smoke the Ribs
Preheat your smoker to 250°F. Place ribs directly on the grate and smoke for 2 hours, until the surface is beautifully set and darkened.
  4. Braise for Tenderness
Transfer ribs into a deep foil pan. Add butter, more Japanese BBQ Sauce, Melinda’s Hot Honey, and Blazing Star Asian Bang Sauce. Cover tightly with foil.
  5. Cook Until Tender
Return the pan to the smoker and cook for another 1.5 hours, or until ribs are tender and pull easily from the bone.
  6. Finish & Serve
Remove from heat and rest 10 minutes. Toss ribs back in the pan juices for that extra sticky glaze. Serve hot and watch them disappear fast!

💡Pro Tips

  • If you like extra sticky ribs, reduce the pan juices into a glaze and brush them on before serving.
  • Substitute short ribs if you can’t find beef back ribs, same method, amazing results.
  • Add a squeeze of lime or sprinkle of sesame seeds for a fresh finishing touch.
